Challenge: New mixed-use complex in an established downtown district.

Solutions: Provided design for copper and fiber cable relocation to remove conflict with new building and road reconstruction. Provided temporary fiber service for parking structure security during construction phase. Designed Fiber PFP junction box and terminals for new building. Coordinate with joint utilities and local contractor to reroute existing conduit infrastructure to remove utility conflct.

Challenge: Disaster recovery, service restoral.

Solution: Reestablished temporary copper services for critical junction boxes while fiber infrastructure was being designed. Coorinated with fiber transport engineering to retrofit 6 Central Offices to provide fiber service to affected community, also potentially providing future services to the City of Weed, CA. Teamed with local power company to underground the Lincoln Heights Community, adopting a Rule 20 underground district. Provided a fiber design for fire affected areas: Lincoln Heights, parts of Lake Shastina, Jackson Ranch Road, and Hoy Road. Recurring meetings in regard to service restoral and PUC regulations, converting existing customers from copper-based service to fiber-based service.

Challenge: Provide fiber service to new Senior Living multi-unit complex.

Solution: Coordination with electrical contractor, communication installation technician, and fiber splicing crew to design and install 13 fiber terminals to meet the needs of this multi-unit complex, to include fiber infrastructure for the memory care wing.

Challenge: Service restoral, and joint pole construction.

Solution: Managed a team of design engineers to design fiber placement to reestablish service to fire affected community, reestablish connectivity to fiber-fed junction boxes, and coordination with local power company for joint pole replacement or relocation.

Solution: Served as a staking crew to assess damage and identify new terminal and pole placement locations for the Town of Paradise, and the south end of Magalia, CA.
