PLT Utility Design designs work drawings for construction crews for telecommunication and power. Providing pole loading calculations, fiber design and layout, copper consolidation, voltage drop and fault current calculations, transformer and conductor sizing, and conduit pull calculations. Previous experience in the telecommunications industry: wiring circuits in the Central Office, fault detection and repair, basic modem and software configuration, and network infrastructure design. Experience in the Electric Power Industry: Network infrastructure design, pole loading, joint use, trench profile design with construction estimates, and encroachment permit submittals.
